CEA stands in support of the Charlottesville High School staff. We ask that all CCS staff wear black and orange on Monday and Tuesday to show our support for the CHS staff.

CEA fully supports the AEA in their fight for collective bargaining. The bigger question is why is this such a fight? The majority of ACPS staff asked for CB. It is unconscionable that ACPS refuses to listen & has yet to keep the promises they’ve made to their teachers & staff.

Remember when the School Board announced its intention to work w/the AEA on a collective bargaining agreement to bring historic protections to this county's school staff? Today, we know these were empty words from the Board.
