I sold a rug today to a customer who complained about one of the rugs being a little dirty, while they were walking all over several rugs we had laid out with their dirty shoes on… they ended up buying the “dirty” rug but I just thought it was funny 😂 people are interesting!

@ShamsETubriz Respect shams! I have three young kids myself and am always trying to balance this too. But creating memories like that is super important!

[Cade Cardwell @Cwell214]

@rlmcca I haven’t ever shipped them to customers. So far everything I’ve sold has been on Facebook Marketplace and OfferUp! I think it would be tricky to ship these and still get the margins I’m hoping for.

Just won some more rug inventory on b-stock for my recommerce business for less than 20% of the retail price! There are two nicer 9x12s on this order and if they’re in good condition I should recoup more than 50% of my cost on just those 2 rugs alone.

[Cade Cardwell @Cwell214]

@hey_mindi Awesome Mindi! What did you do to revamp your listings??

[Cade Cardwell @Cwell214]

@ShamsETubriz Nice! That’s awesome. What % of retail do you normally win them for? I need to learn more about different categories. With Rugs ive always been able to get them for less than 20% of retail with shipping included but I know that isn’t always the case with other categories!

[Cade Cardwell @Cwell214]

@kobionpurpose @ShamsETubriz @donnyyoung and @resellerrowe suggested I use Claude to look at my listings and see if they look like they’re violating any of FBMs policies. I made some edits so we’ll see how it goes!

Rug Reselling Updates!! from my first purchase of 16 rugs for $325 I’ve sold 10, and have profited $250. My second purchase of 24 rugs for $490 I’ve sold 4 and have recouped 65% of my cost. I should easily make at least a 100% return from investments. It’s been fun so far!!

[Cade Cardwell @Cwell214]

@jearl02s That’s awesome! I was wondering what happened with this. Glad he came through!

[Cade Cardwell @Cwell214]

@kobionpurpose Thanks Kobi! I think I’m currently dealing with a shadow ban on FBM…trying to figure that out haha.

[Cade Cardwell @Cwell214]

@donnyyoung Thanks Donny!

[Cade Cardwell @Cwell214]

@resellerrowe Thanks Jim!

Made my first sale today from the new pallet of rugs. All in for 24 rugs was $490. I recouped ~30% of my cost today in one sale of 2 rugs. Have a couple people lined up to come tomorrow as well. Lots more to sell, but excited about the trajectory for sure!

[Cade Cardwell @Cwell214]

@ShamsETubriz Thanks Shams! Sold another rug yesterday for $100. More than halfway to break even now on this pallet!

[Cade Cardwell @Cwell214]

@ToshiTreasures It’s definitely been fun so far! Excited about where it’s going!

[Cade Cardwell @Cwell214]

My first pallet from bstock got here today! Delivery went smoothly. 24 rugs total! 3 or 4 need to be cleaned/have a little damage. The rest of them are all in pretty good shape! Time to go make some money!!

[Cade Cardwell @Cwell214]

@agwawegd Yes! All in in these rugs was $490 which included about $350 in shipping. So my bid was $126, $350 in shipping, and then there were a couple fees.

[Cade Cardwell @Cwell214]

@JVCocoDeals Thank you! Inviting random strangers to your house via Facebook marketplace is definitely an adventure haha

[Cade Cardwell @Cwell214]

@JohnPaterson24 Thanks John! Really excited about it!

[Cade Cardwell @Cwell214]

@ShamsETubriz Great idea! I was wondering what to do with these. Looks like I’ve got something else to post!

[Cade Cardwell @Cwell214]

@donnyyoung Thanks Donny! Excited about it for sure!
