According to reports, the USMNT have set their sights on convincing Arsenal and England U20 striker Folarin Balogun to represent them internationally.
The 19-year-old was born in New York therefore is eligible to represent the USA.

The behavior by American spectators and even some players — at the Ryder Cup today was disgraceful. I am horrified. We are living in an age of Fascist Biff Tannen.
I’m honestly grateful I couldn’t afford the ticket price. Because what I saw was mean, bullying, boorish, and cruel — the rot that Trump has unleashed in this country.
America has never been perfect, but my god, we certainly were better than this. I am disgusted — and we all should be.
PS Europe is winning. As they should be.
The nationalist taunting of European golfers at the Ryder cup is another low that Trumpian culture has generated in the US. I’m amazed that Trump hasn’t sued Europe’s golfers for daring to beat the US - obviously unfair!! https://t.co/75qDdvA5wW
This Ryder Cup has been a disaster from a US Perspective. Given the behavior of the "fans" maybe from a European perspective too.
This used to be a great event. Yesterday was an embarrassment to any golfer who understands how this game is meant to be played.
Changes I would make immediately:
1) Course setup - if you want the Ryder Cup to be a putting contest, this is how you set it up. These guys are the best in the world and we have them playing TPC Bethpage. Set it up like a major!
2) Cut the gallery size in half and limit alcohol sales. Make the overall on-site fan experience better, rather than being the worst fan experience in golf.
3) Work out a deal for limited commercial interruptions from a big sponsor. Get a streaming app, like the Master, that shows all the shots! Let those of us at home see golf!
4) If the US Team continues to want to be paid, pay them for match wins and a bonus for winning the cup. None of the pay before they play crap!
5) Make this a 4 day event, like the President's Cup with fewer matches on Thursday/Friday.
What other changes should be made?
The announcers for the Ryder Cup @CBSSports are fundamentally wrong justifying the poor sportsmanship of the American supporters. The US organizers should be ashamed of the lack of crowd control.
Classless fans yelling obscenities in Rory's and other Euro players backswings and putting routines. Pathetic. That's not golf.
Most ppl there just having fun, respectfully cheering and booing, but the low IQ idiots give USA a horrible look.

I’m telling you all, as someone who was at the Ryder Cup on Friday, the things being yelled at Rory McIlroy simply aren’t acceptable.
It’s not about Rory needing to have thick skin. It’s about fans crossing the line from a human standpoint and hurling insults about his family.
Reflects very poorly on the American players that they are happy to stand by and listen to their own crowd abusing their opponents (and friends) when they’re lining up shots. These scenes with Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry do the #RyderCup no favours at all
