Haven't tried Mastodon yet, but it sounds like a modern day version of the User Groups some of us were using long before the advent of social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook.

To sum up 12 years of Tory government :
10 years of austerity, followed by an almighty crash, followed by more austerity.
(While the rich become extremely rich and the poor get even poorer)
This is the party the media praises for being 'fiscally responsible'

Imprisons journalists without trial
Curtails citizens' right of movement,
Makes most forms of protest illegal,
Proposes removing human rights
- shouldn't be allowed to stage international football tournaments
So why is England bidding for World Cup 2030?
It would appear the government prefers to spend Β£millions of taxpayers' money on accomodating asylum seekers in privately owned hotels, rather than employing enough staff to process their claims.
