That is a real result. Hit the fossil fuel companies' share prices, challenge their investors with evidence of environmental and human rights abuses. Drive disinvestment and provide examples of sustainable ethical alternatives for investors and institutions.
Many thanks to all who've worked to undermine this most aggressively irresponsible of corporations--for the 1st time in the 90 year history of the S&P 500, Exxon drops out of its top 10 stocks

I sometimes hear that my name or image is being used for commercial purposes. I have never given consent to any company or organisation to do so. Nor am I interested in such collaborations in the future. If you see any such examples please let me now.
16-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg traveled for two weeks on a zero-emissions yacht to attend the UN climate summit in New York — and to make a point https://t.co/MCEIvuYZw0
This is literally insane. The fracking boom is spewing clouds of methane, it's a huge driver of climate change, and now we're going to drop the (minimal) regulation we've had in place. Trump and his buddies are pure nihilists.

Our Event Week at Ffarm Moelyci https://t.co/9n59ejkzzq will include the RE-DIRECT conference on Weds 11/9 (https://t.co/1RQguLbqf5) the CEW conference on Thurs 12/9 https://t.co/kXCIdpfLZf and a public open weekend on 14/15 https://t.co/sGLdFUwYEM come and find us!
We will not be firing up the big static biochar kiln at Ffarm Moelyci during the Redirect conference on 11 September https://t.co/ziaK2XIfeu Instead, Tony Davies will be demonstrating the mobile Exeter retort (https://t.co/Q6cQPqJT4u) with a 1-day burn. Here it is at @ibers_aber
In case you were wondering what the IFBB + Pyrolysis process does, here's a brilliant video of the full-scale plant at Baden Baden in Germany. We get serious equipment-envy when looking at their installation! https://t.co/5jAoNvdoNI #redirect_biomass

With the screw press up on its' legs and the generator in the right position, we can connect power to each of the units and start testing components. All the external electric motors have been away to Gwynedd Rewinds for servicing. 1m holes are drilled for multiple earth rods.
Thankfully, our friends at Ashbrook's in Bangor https://t.co/WHrKLBFDfJ came to rescue our little environmental charity with a bigger telehandler and a skilled operator. The big Genny is now in position and has been connected up. Thank you Ashbrooks!!
More playing with big toys at Ffarm Moelyci project #redirect_biomass . The big 40kVa generator has to be lifted into position as the initial power supply before we start generating power from biogas. Unfortunately this telehandler was not up to the job so the genny stayed put
One of the great things about the REDIRECT project (https://t.co/PbB0iKrCvo) is that we get to play with some big toys! The screw press unit had to be hoisted up onto its legs to allow room for the press cake to drop out underneath and be collected for pyrolis.
The final process stage of the press cake - the de-mineralised energy crop plant fibre - is pyrolysis. This cooks the cellulose fibres in an air-free vessel and converts them to a form of charcoal clled Biochar. At 8T, this one is going to take quite a lot of work to get running!
The twin CHP units look intriguing - the biogas engines are an Indian-built derivative of an early C20th agricultural stationery engine with a modern alternator attached. The big 10" Vincent screw press is a beast - used to squash the pres fluid (juice) out of the mashed silage.
Now, where was that wiring diagram? exploring the control systems in the Bioqube AD + CHP units. After a long stand out of use in the Scottish Highlands, everything needs checking: batteries are flat and the cows have been chewing the external wiring. #redirect_biomass
Now that the IFBB plant is in place on the former composting site, it's pretty well hidden away on the farm. The old composting barn still looms over the revised site. #redirect_biomass
The newly arrived plant in daylight at Ffarm Moelyci with Jonathan Walker of AMW arboreal checking which bits are missing. It was one BIG Jigsaw puzzle. #redirect_biomass
