D.A. VANCE TO ANNOUNCE RESULTS OF $38 MILLION RAPE KIT TESTING INVESTMENT ALONGSIDE SURVIVORS, ADVOCATES, OFFICIALS
More: The D.A.’s Office is convening representatives from jurisdictions across the country who tested more than 55,000 backlogged rape kits over the course of the D.A.’s $38 million initiative.
The day begins with a press conference to announce results of the program thus far, hear from survivors whose kits were tested, and call for legislative action and accountability to prevent future backlogs.
