May have exaggerated on saying splatling was the most toxic class(that would be splatanas 😃) but whenever it gets something new to spam it just feels so overwhelming and tbh it's not even the classes fault that it got so many passive kits, the devs want the class to be supportive so badly and I don't think they got that right fully until edit. I feel ballpoint/Nautilus (S3) was the closest we have seen to having a fun splatling to play against but pencil just kind of invalidated any of the aggro playstyle splatlings because it's matchup into all of them is just too oppressive. I think if pencils fighting ability was a bit lower the players wouldn't feel that they have to spam to keep up. I also have no idea how you would buff the class because outside of playing against pen compositions the weapons themselves feel very strong. After much thought I'll instead be moving on to nerfsplatanas2025 🤍
