One thing HWU students would benefit from is taking the train to Currie with their Lothian Bus monthly pass, where they'd jump on 25 bus (extended from HWU to Currie).

Lots of walkers got used to those quiet spaces. 2) Cycling lobby would be fine if councils offered good alternative segregated cycling. @JosephineCumbo @AdamGanz At Edinburgh one can start in one Engineer. programme but switch to some other one after 1 yr (with minor condition). I suspect this is true in many other unis. One may also end up discovering a cool discipline not initially considered. Civil Eng. often falls in that category 😉
