There are some moments in public life which touch you very deeply. Today is one such moment for me.
Assam’s Maternal Mortality Rate has come down to 84. For the first time in our history, Assam is now below the national average of 88.
When I took over the Health Department in 2006, our MMR was 480. At that time, this journey looked almost impossible. But thousands of doctors, nurses, ASHA workers, health officials and frontline workers across Assam kept working silently, tirelessly and with compassion year after year.
This achievement belongs to them.
Behind this number are countless mothers who returned safely home to their families. Behind this success are years of sacrifice, sleepless nights and an unwavering commitment to save lives.
Assam has achieved something truly historic today. What once seemed impossible has become reality through collective effort and the blessings of the people of Assam.
I bow with gratitude to every health worker who made this possible.

So the Patient was referred to SDCH Sadiya from where they were referred to TMCH, Tinsukia.
But due to..

A humble request to Hon’ble @himantabiswa Sir and Hon’ble @TheAshokSinghal Sir
It has become a norm that every month, salaries of healthcare workers are delayed, me specifically speaking on behalf of CRP 1 Year MOs.
We request your urgent intervention for a permanent solution.
@himantabiswa Sir please look into the matter regarding salary payment of 1year CRP doctors. We are serving the people sincerely and so we too expect our salary payment to be regular and without delay. @himantabiswa

"Govt e dormah diye, tothapiu service dibo nuware niki?" Are the kind of questions raised
So it's high time that our plight is brought to light
The doctors nurses and staff working under nhm, have so far this month been working despite continuous delays in the release of salary.
Despite logistical and admistrative failures playing a major role in mishaps such as the one which occured at GMCH recently, it is always the integrity, and ethics of the overburdened, overworked burnt out doctors, nurses and other staff at government hospitals.
On Duty doctors are being taught about how to do duty, such a shameful act by the people.
Such harassment to the Doctor late at night needs to be stopped.
Gogamuk CHC, Dhemaji, Assam one of our Doctor Santosh Kumar Doley has been targeted.
Please take necessary action Sir🙏
The salary of 1 Year Compulsory Rural Posting MBBS Doctor is 38500. Whereas the Stipend of a MBBS intern in hospital is 36017.
How can a Doctor with just 2483 more salary survive in the Rural posting.@nhm_assam@himantabiswa@drsfaizanahmad@TheAshokSinghal
This is to enlighten you that under Notice no. NHM-31032/2/2018-HRD-NHM/12372 issued on 30/08/2022 attachment of doctors away from original place of posting is barred. But currently this practice is very prevalent, so kindly take necessary action.
