We’re officially starting Milestone 1 of our Quex Oracles project, funded by @Catalyst_onX!
This milestone begins the development of TEE-based oracle infrastructure for Cardano.
The milestone includes:
• Deploying a Trust Domain for secure data signing;
• Developing attestation and verification tools;
• Implement Plutus contracts to receive, validate, and store data on testnet.

Horrifying news or FUD? 👻
At @quex_tech we’ve been quiet through the recent wave of TEE exploits, but the latest @TeeDotFail attack - building on a prior one just a month ago - now breaks even the newest chips. It shows a cheap and practical way to extract secret keys from fully trusted environments. Even more worrying is the vendor response to the attack: physical attacks are out of scope. No fixes, no roadmap.
@quex_tech and @kaerudotgg services remain secure, but now operate in permissioned mode. Only whitelisted TDs can execute oracle tasks. Attestations of existing workers were posted on-chain before the exploit and remain valid.
