Big news for DEADFACE CTF 2026: we’re introducing Mobile App challenges.
For the first time, DEADFACE players will have the opportunity to dive into mobile-focused challenges as part of the competition experience. This is a major step for us as we continue to expand the types of skills and scenarios featured in DEADFACE CTF.
Mobile applications are a huge part of today’s technology landscape, and understanding how they work, how they break, and how they can be analyzed is an important skill set for security practitioners. By adding Mobile App challenges, we’re creating new opportunities for players to test their knowledge in a way that reflects real-world technology.
As always, DEADFACE CTF will continue to deliver the immersive, story-driven experience that makes it different from other competitions - now with even more ways to play.
We’re looking forward to seeing how players take on these new challenges in October 2026.
@CTFtime We always look forward to posting our DEADFACE CTF to your platform. Unfortunately, our account is tied to this X account, and X authentication on https://t.co/6wBkuxVKyT has been down for several months. When is this expected to be fixed?
DEADFACE CTF 2026 is in the works. We’re looking for volunteers to help build an event that grows skills, strengthens community, and gives back to cybersecurity.
Contribute at your own pace in challenge dev, infra, testing, content, design, and ops.
