You’ve also got to give it breathing room because it’s clearly written with the intention of properly setting up the marvel universe for the foreseeable future, don’t judge it yet. (3/3)
Feel like people need to not just trust one singular early review all the time, it’s the reason that so many people fall into the comic hivemind of opinions.
I’ve read this issue early too and while it’s not the best thing I’ve ever read it’s a (1/)
good attempt at rectifying the mistakes of how OWUD went down.
No crossover ever has a great first issue, and it’s always worth letting it get into the swing of things before making the immediate judgement. (2/3)
The entitlement of some Doctor Who fans about when they receive their blu rays is absolutely insane.
Be grateful that we still get content like that at all.
@mvrtxin The point still stands that the reason it’s featured in this months solicits (for titles on sale in July) is because the FOC is (and has for the other Blind Bags) been significantly earlier, aligning with the FOC dates of the July titles.
Only just occurred to me that this is all gonna lead to a Midnight Sons team-up….
Does make me wonder tho, is the plan to call the series stuff like Midnight Blade or is there actually another name for the universe under the midnight banner.
The light had its turn.
Marvel Comics presents MIDNIGHT, a terrifying new universe coming this fall.
Stay tuned next week for more information on this all-new publishing line, including series and creative team reveals.
I remember there’s an episode of Ted Lasso that follows Beard, first time I watched it I really disliked it, but on rewatch I came to really enjoy it particularly for the character work it did.
One thing I find with episodes like this, they’ll be under appreciated in their time, particularly in this case of deviating from source material, people will consider it as breaking the flow, but afterwards people will come to enjoy it.
@DEB10042 (2/2) Like, the Cap issue last week did nothing for me because the storyline has had no bearing on the rest of the run since #10. Same with Thor’s issue next month.
@DEB10042 Tbf, the biggest problem with these last few issues is the desperation and rush to wrap up plot threads from way earlier on in the run before the end of the universe when obviously the plan would’ve been to develop them more further. (1/2)
