BTC swept liquidity to $79.5K, reversed hard with a clean CHoCH down through a stack of unfilled FVGs ($78.4K–79K), and is now trading inside a lower demand zone around $77K — the second support level below where the rally originally launched from.
That upper FVG stack is still open — first real test if price pushes back up.

Weekly smart money recap: the politics specialist I track (61.7% win rate, $513K+ lifetime) bought into "Fed Rate Hike" markets same-day as this week's hot CPI print — right as odds shifted toward a hike at Wednesday's FOMC.

Bigger one than yesterday: US CPI at 12:30 UTC.
CPI m/m forecast 0.40% vs 0.10% prior — a real jump if it prints as expected.
Core CPI m/m forecast 0.20%, flat vs prior.
CPI y/y forecast 3.40%, unchanged.
Core CPI y/y forecast 2.40% — actually cooling from 2.50% prior.
Mixed signals in the forecast itself: headline accelerating, core actually easing. This is the Fed's primary inflation gauge — watch BTC's first 15-30 min reaction after the print.
Headline PPI printed +0.4% today — right in line with the 0.40% forecast.
Polymarket's "What price will BTC hit Sept 7-13?" market already reflects the week's move: $76K odds jumped 42% → 71%, $80K odds fell 51% → 30% as BTC rolled over.
Same story, playing out in real time on both the chart and the odds board.

Liquidation map update - BTC trading near 77.068K, long liquidations below have largely already been flushed out. Short liquidity is building above — one cluster around 78.8K–79.8K, another further out at 81.6K–82.8K. That's the likely magnet zone if price pushes higher.
ETF
Bitcoin Spot ETFs just posted a second straight day of net outflows — -1.53K BTC (-$120.2M) on Sep 9, following -589 BTC the day before. ARKB led the outflows, GBTC and IBIT also negative. Lifetime net inflow still +$55.91B / +699K BTC, but back-to-back red days is worth watching from here.
#Macro bitcoin:native
BTC holding around $77.9K (-0.55%) heading into today's PPI print (Core PPI forecast 0.30% vs 0.20% prior) — still consolidating inside the range it's carved out since the late-August breakout.
This data won't just move the candle. It reprices every crypto-linked market on Polymarket in real time, often before most of CT finishes reading the headline. Smart money doesn't wait for the candle to close — it's already repositioning on the market that settles in cash.

BTC left two stacked FVGs on the breakout — one between 76.5K–73.4K, another right below it at 72.9K–70.1K. Basically one continuous imbalance zone from ~70K to 76.6K. Price pulled back today to ~78K (-0.43%), still sitting well above both gaps. First real test on any deeper retrace would be the upper gap near 76.5K.

Found a Polymarket wallet with the opposite profile from last week's — 61.7% win rate, but only +5% total ROI despite $511K in lifetime earnings.
High win rate, thin edge per trade. This one plays volume, not asymmetry — almost entirely in politics markets.
