@shl If 1099s, k1s, w2, etc are all filed with IRS by the various entities, why does the citizen need to remember each every form when filing their taxes? Why can’t irs provide a system that states here are the forms that have been filed attached to your SSN, are these all correct?

@KamalaHarris Government money handed to citizens creates inflation. In some cases it’s necessary, in most cases (such as this proposal) it triggers inflation.

Free money sounds good to a certain set of constituents….if only they knew the truth.

Government spending = inflation. There is no debate here. If you spend more money than you earn, you go into debt. If you go into debt (and you’re a government with currency) you print more money to pay for the interest on the debt. Cycle continues…

Then we hear the folks currently in power discuss price controls on food and goods. If government keeps spending but Kroger and Costco can’t charge what they need to make a profit (pay their employees, rent, utilities, inventory, etc) they go bankrupt.

This leaves us with limited food suppliers and likely bread lines.

Government spending = inflation = stagnation/starvation.

Socialism/communism only works for those with the power.
