i was 13 when i first saw the WWDC event.
never thought i'll make one someday.
as the world preps for #WWDC26, here’s how we made an Apple-style keynote for Dreamspan’s brand launch on less than 0.1% of Apple’s budget. 🧵
7. outcome
no Indian startup had ever done a keynote-style launch. we were the first.
After 2+ years of R&D, this was the way we wanted to present Dreamspan to the world.
we got 550K+ views on twitter.
many folks asked if making the keynote was worth it?
a 1000%.
we're just a group of humans, having fun, telling stories about what we’re passionate about.
at the end, that's what matters.
6. post-production.
this is where things got brutal.
we delayed the launch 4 times, as we were not able to complete post-production on time.
a 15-person team (in-house + freelancers) was built to handle post-production.
colorist. VFX. 3D artists. sound design & more.
for weeks, every frame was reviewed like a product detail.
my Whoop is in my drawer, where i left it when the subscription ended.
my Oura is on the nightstand, where i left it when i forgot to charge.
i'm on my Lucid Pro, falling asleep.
no charging. no wearing. no subscriptions.
just sleep.
