@_PixieWillow Honestly here, most newer game devs are going to assume that assets they commissioned are reusable (most are). IMO: when you give them the rates, give them both a single use rate and a reusable rate and let people choose their license and/or upgrade to the higher tier later.

Don't Save the Princess is my newest side project, an experimental anti-runner about a princess who would rather not be rescued. Art by @SantyStuffs; trailer by @CyberScherzo. Support here: https://t.co/nUGMcSuD3K
@souldroids Without custom coding you can fake a jump with move routes, or just lean into not being able to jump as a game design. Or maybe have a jetpack or the like for 2-5 seconds of free flight instead of a "normal" jump. Less physics issues.
@ironsevs Still alive at least. I have NOT been properly updating social media stuff but still slowly working on game dev and projects in the background. I hope to resume that newsletter too once things settle back down.
@StrongMoist TBH, I think it's partially because Zoomers are old enough to make games now. People that grew up with Ps1/Ps2 and N64 are making low poly games for the same reason Millennials and GenX won't give up pixel art.
@kakodaimontas37 Yes. It's been a long time since It's been updated, but I've still been commissioning art and writing every month to go into it, though little of it is in any kind of playable format yet. I bit off way more than I can chew and I'm clogged up on multiple projects.
@Quin_nsfw Word of advice: *don't* get carried away with a lot of merch. Just prints are enough for your first con. And table space is at a premium, but you can still do a couple bonus items. Bags, Hats, Keychains, pillow cases, and stickers are good picks for a first merch item.
@TailBlazerArt It's not a matter of cleverness. It's a matter of needing literally billions of dollars of capital to have any negotiating power with these financial giants. Even the suspiciously rich furriers aren't suspiciously rich enough.
@MelieConieK It does feel a little like a commercial, but worst case scenario the submission is just blammed or has a bad rating, not like it's a bannable offence. If you're worried about reception though maybe just take a small clip of the sexy part and post it as a loop?
