Omo not many person know or say this but the best thing I did for my mental health was starting from very low.

Like waking up to clean my room or sitting in front of my work desk.

I didn’t try to be strong or productive. I just picked myself up in tiny pieces.

A lot of people are there right now and it can be painful. Start small.

You do at least one of these every day:

Spend time on Instagram.
Spend hours on TikTok.
Spend hours on Twitter.
Spend hours gisting with friends.
Spend hours watching movies.

But you don’t pray daily. Now, this shows you have time but you just don’t prioritize God.

Or you have time, love God, but just don’t have the will power to pray.

Guess what? You think praying would come as easily to you as scrolling through Instagram reels.

No. It won’t. Your flesh loves IG feels but hates prayers.

So, it would take INTENTIONAL use of your willpower to decide to show up daily.

That coconut head that you boast you have? Use it to decide to pray and stay praying daily.

This is how it works. You’d most likely not feel like it.

This is why you must intentionally do it. Then the Spirit will take over.

However, you must start mechanically first.

Prayer is first a duty before a delight. Something is forcing you not to pray.

Force yourself to pray.

God help you. Amen.
