A few things losing dad taught me-
1) be self reliant - you need to be able to pull yourself through hardship alone. It sucks but you have to be able to do it.
2) put your foot flat down on the gas pedal when it comes to life. Chances disappear. βLaterβ can become βneverβ
No. I would have to say a more accurate way is to track the number of people having to get second jobs to cover expenses that used to only require one.
Apple has confirmed it's permanently closing three US retail stores, blaming "the departure of several retailers and declining conditions" at the malls where they're located.
More details below.
I have this quote written somewhere and think I have it close "Money doesn't buy happiness, it buys freedom, and freedom buys happiness." Years ago I chased jobs that paid the most. Now I chase jobs that reward the most (experience, satisfaction, and a personal life).
I used to be impressed by people who had a lot of money, but now I'm impressed by people who have a lot of free time.
Time is the ultimate measure of wealth.
Warren Buffett on aging: "It just happens. It happens to some people at 75. Very few people get to 95 without beginning to [show signs of age]."
"It doesn't mean the world falls apart or anything like that. It just means you can't do certain things that you could do before."
Yesterday, we did not meet the standard of excellence you expect and that we expect of ourselves. To help provide some relief to those affected, we will give you a $20 account credit that can be easily redeemed by logging into the myVerizon app. You will receive a text message when the credit is available. On average, this covers multiple days of service. Business customers will be contacted directly about their credits.
This credit isnβt meant to make up for what happened. No credit really can. But itβs a way of acknowledging your time and showing that this matters to us.
If youβre still having trouble connecting, please restart your device (power down and power back on). This is the fastest way to reconnect your phone to the network.
We are sorry for what you experienced and will continue to work hard day and night to provide the outstanding network and service that you expect from Verizon.
Totally agree Anthony. It's a reflection of your post several months ago about the game of "Monopoly". It would be so boring if we didn't build those houses and hotels on the properties we purchased.
