No matter what the government did to promote "responsibility", they would have continued to be on drugs and not be able to feed me lol. You're imagining a fantasy world.

I wouldn't necessarily use the word deadbeat though since I'm a normal human being with some common decency, but my point still stands. What's your alternative? Should I and other "deadbeat kids" have starved?

If you haven't watched Dan Da Dan yet, I absolutely recommend trying it out. Episode 7 just came out and I think it may have been one of the most beautiful episodes of any anime ever. Visually and emotionally.
