@Popehat I think of Twitter as the death of the straw man fallacy. You can find some idiot that supports any arbitrary combination of bad ideas. We need better ways to identify real discourse.
I'm not leaving Twitter.
But the party is definitely over.
And I feel like the sucker who stayed too long, while the under-age drunks with fake ids are burping and puking everywhere, and starting fights in the parking lot.
@RadioFreeTom I just wish we didn’t “play act” so much, and lived by our stated values. If you are sick, wear a fucking mask.
Maybe government is often seen as a failure because it tries to be a backstop against cultural failures and picks righteous battles it can’t win.
Many of my favorite things seem blindingly obvious with an ounce of hindsight.
Oliver, pls pivot this into what it should always have been. Verify a real ID or a real Corp. Onetime upfront. Pair monthly costs with security services.

Thanks to @roberrrt_s's amazing coding and @travisbrown's awesome work collecting Twitter data
@TaelurAlexis I, for a bit, would play a “foreign language drinking game” where you would have 1 native speaker and 2 novices. The native speaker would be the judge, both novices would play. Judge says a phrase, players repeat, judge determines who was closest and who drinks.

Attackers are using artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance conversational scams, such as the so-called "pig butchering" social engineering scams, over mobile devices, @proofpoint researchers say. #cybersecurity#infosec#ITsecurity https://t.co/OHlblo70yk

“There are a bunch of idiots out there that think it is ‘nature + nurture’ and argue about which is bigger. What they don’t understand it is is more like ‘nature * nurture’.”
