Lots of season left to play, but FHS baseball being ranked top-ten in Class A with wins over Port St Joe and Paxton on their resume shows consistency in the program after graduating some great players from last year. The players and coach Williams deserve a lot of Kudos!
As FHS softball enters spring break ranked 1 in District 2, Class A, here's a memory. Not mentioned in article is how a cute blonde Shara Caswell snagged about 10 pop flies to help preserve the win. We hear she married some average-at-best looking dude. Lucky guy!
Trey Hinkley, the same kid who never played running back but stepped up to help Freeport's record setting offense this past fall, getting it done on the diamond as well! Bulldog baseball is 5-1 so far this year.
We're not saying we're superstitious, but after years of drinking nothing but mountain dew, FHS earned its biggest softball win in years while multi-purpose Coach/Teacher/Philantropist @CoachJBurnham drank Pepsi. No more doing the dew for Burnham at softball games.
