Bad parking is one of the biggest hazards for people 🚲 with children. When you can’t predict what’s ahead on the road, it’s incredibly unnerving. How can we expect more families to choose the 🚲 when the spaces we have are so neglected by the authorities they’ve become dangerous

As the mornings get wetter and progressively darker, all we need is a good rain jacket (rain pants optional) and working in bike lights 💡
Because there’s no such thing as bad weather when you are cycling to school with our pals.

We are just a bunch of parents who decided to start cycling to school together over 5 years ago.
We advocate for a safe route to school for all children. In the meantime we continue to cycle as a group.

The recently completed Fr Russell Rd scheme from #ActiveTravelLimerick is a game changer for children in local schools!

Traffic calming has slowed cars that were routinely doing 100km on a 50km route. New footpath and bike lanes mean it’s finally safe to walk & cycle to school!
