Bad parking is one of the biggest hazards for people 🚲 with children. When you can’t predict what’s ahead on the road, it’s incredibly unnerving. How can we expect more families to choose the 🚲 when the spaces we have are so neglected by the authorities they’ve become dangerous
Crazy illegal parking in #Limerick must be encouraged by @LimerickCouncil as I am witnessing these scenes on a daily basis and they never seem to be ticketed or moved on @GardaTraffic
🚲The LK Cyclebus is rolling again!
If you’ve ever thought about cycling from the Northside to school with your kids you’re welcome to join our pedal-powered crew.

No surprise here. Quality amenities draw people, which in turn is good for our health and business, now we just need to connect it to the city. https://t.co/4rsmp2rwer
As the mornings get wetter and progressively darker, all we need is a good rain jacket (rain pants optional) and working in bike lights 💡
Because there’s no such thing as bad weather when you are cycling to school with our pals.

@grogar01@LimerickCouncil@WaterfordCounci This was not a council initiative!
We are just a bunch of parents who decided to start cycling to school together over 5 years ago.
We advocate for a safe route to school for all children. In the meantime we continue to cycle as a group.
Cycling helps kids stay active, energized, and ready for school & play! Plus, it promotes a healthy lifestyle for the whole family.
These families from the Northside cycle to school each morning.
Why not join them? Just get in touch! #FamilyFitness#ActiveKids#HealthyLiving
The recently completed Fr Russell Rd scheme from #ActiveTravelLimerick is a game changer for children in local schools!
Traffic calming has slowed cars that were routinely doing 100km on a 50km route. New footpath and bike lanes mean it’s finally safe to walk & cycle to school!
Sound on 🔊to listen to those laughs ❤️
What you can’t hear are the chats about last nights soccer training ⚽️, the excitement of an upcoming family wedding 💒 and the rules of chess club ♟️
Can you tell us of a better or more social way to get to school? #kidsonbikes
Our first week back to school has been a success.
These kids know that getting to school is #betterbybike.
