27 miles of gravel along the South Downs Way past Chanctonbury Ring (with a cheeky off bike crash!, bikes fine, me not so much, especially as my Garmin decide to grass me up to the Responsible Adult) and and coastal bake to Shorham
A gravel loop from Eastbourne heads inland to Lewes, following quiet hills and an old coach road, the Ouse valley, joins the Egrets Way to Newhaven, then Cuckmere Haven and Coastguard Cottages. Through Friston Forest, a fast descent via Jevington and Wannock to home
East Sussex Sunday Gravel ๐ตโโ๏ธ
From home to Abbots Wood & past Arlington Reservoir, onto the Old Coach Road ,then up the A27 to Lewes & onto South Downs Way to Alfriston and back home.
1066 Circular ๐ดโโ๏ธ
A 30-mile cycle ride starting and finishing in the historic town of Battle, site of the famous Battle of Hastings. The route loops through scenic countryside with plenty of ups and downs, in the East Sussex Alps, passing Bodiam Castle and through Robertsbridge.
East Sussex Gravel Ride.
A 25-mile gravel loop linking chalk tracks, bridleways, and short road sections through the East Sussex end of the South Downs.
Surrey Hills Legbuster:
The route route was taken from Jack Thurstonโs book, Lost Lanes south, ride #11 and included two of Surryโs famous climbs Leith Hill and Box Hill which was featured in the 2012 London Olympics.

The weather was simply stunning, for a gravel ride along the cliffs from Beachy Head to Cuckmere Haven. The views were spectacular! then through the trails of Friston Forest, and back home via the South Downs Way from Jevington to East Dean Road.
Eynsford Ford & Knole Circular Road Ride
A 35-mile circular ride in Kent, starting in Sevenoaks. The route included Eynsford Ford, which crosses the River Darent near a 17th-century bridge & also Knole, a country house and former archbishopโs palace owned by the National Trust.
Mamooshโd
Solo ride from Polgate over to Newhaven, then met up with the Beach Head CC long route riders at Mamoosh for snacks and drinks, joined the big boys for the ride back via Beachy Head
