What an incredible season by Iowa State.
@TonyFarrell99 Not worried about the future, Pollard will always position Iowa State Athletics to be successful. Just stating that this has been a rough year.
@allen_lazard Prohm definitely needs to improve as a coach, I will agree. He has had very stagnant and one shot offenses for alot of his time here, but he is still a good coach.
Angry K-State fan angrily claims that the entire stadium is the student section, and then claims K-State "ran all over" Iowa State in a game pretty much decided by a special teams play😂 Enjoy the Liberty Bowl!
@RichardDStacey Prohm is a solid coach and a really good recruiter. This just happens to be a really bad year for our basketball program unfortunately.
@smead4WP Disagree. Manning benefits from having such talented players in his offense that make incredible plays. He has the best QB in the big 12, but his olay designs have been awful all season. Look past the stats.
Still can't wait for next season to be here already. You would think we have a season coming where we win the close games and get the lucky breaks. 10-11 wins is definitely on the table, but....we have to replace Tom Manning for that to happen imo.
@forthewin450 Yes, and that doesn't mean anything if you aren't winning games. When you have players on our offense that are as skilled as they are, they can make you look like a genius when on reality you aren't.
Should Matt Campbell move on from Tom Manning next season or risk another season where he could potentially waste Brock Purdys (likely) final season as a Cyclone?
Let's do another.... Most SKILLED Cyclone football players this decade
1. David Montgomery
2. Hakeem Butler
3. AJ Klein
4. Brock Purdy
5. EJ Bibbs
6. Jake Knott
7. Kelechi Osemele
8. Leonard Johnson
9. David Irving
10. Jeremiah George
Thoughts?
@tberge_tim It's not 100% on Manning, but he killed this offense today with his brain numbing play calling. And not just today but all season. He's holding back thos offense and the talented players that we have.
