Taco Bell is under investigation over a parasite outbreak linked to severe diarrhea.
โจHealth officials are looking into whether Taco Bell is connected to a cyclospora outbreak reported in 30 states. Leafy lettuce is the main suspected source, but no food has been confirmed, and Taco Bell has removed some fresh ingredients from select locations while the investigation continues.

Cases are surging in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as infections from the diarrhea-causing parasite continue to sweep the nation.
The CDC confirmed that the cyclosporiasis outbreak has infected more than 1,600 people nationwide.
An updated map from the CDC shows the outbreak infecting people in 34 states. Up to 80 cases in New Jersey and 30 in Pennsylvania have been reported.
