There are 340 hectares of fallen trees in Carmarthenshire alone - 480 football pitches worth of damage. ⚽

We acknowledge the concerns raised regarding the installation of a gate restricting public access to Natural Resources Wales (NRW)-managed land near Vicarage Terrace, Cwmparc and the community strength of feeling surrounding the issue.

The landowner has provided NRW with access to the gate, ensuring our legal right of way remains unaffected. As such, there is no legal dispute between NRW and the landowner.
Under the Countryside and Rights of Way Act (CROW), NRW does not have the authority to create or enforce
