Question
Couldnโt the 3G pitch at Trelai park just be made bigger to become a full size, plenty of space around it that is just sitting there doing nothing
Still smiling
Still together after the hardest season yet
The boys were amazing today loosing just 2-0 to 3rd placed Thornhill and if we are honest that scoreline flattered them
After a couple of recent batterings it was great to see how well they all played
After cancelling the cup cardiff District are now conceding they will not complete all league fixtures. We had a league game Tuesday, 6 spare pitches at pontcanna. ๐ณ as my son said โthey donโt care about usโ
@FAWales@NoelMooney13@cardiffcouncil@ClwbCymric@CymricCrocs
9 games so far this season, the weather not looking good for the next 2 weeks either. Means 9 games out of a possible 30 weekends / 32 if you include them
Please consider shifting/extending the season
The game for juniors is being killed @NoelMooney13@FAWales@cardiffcouncil
One of our managers is old
He plays vets football for @pentyrchvets and @ferndale_s in @WalesVets
Heโs played 15 games this season, we have played 8
No game again for us this weekend
Those who donโt agree with shifting the season are mad @NoelMooney13
Really saddened to hear a 15 year old referee was verbally abused by an u14โs manager, players and parent after the game. The ref is in his 1st season and a cracking lad - some people should hang their head in shame. The ref is being supported- Ref Abuse is never acceptable!
Great to get our first league points today but the boyโs attitude all season has been superb and just as proud of them for that
Nice make do away kit today too ๐
Still without a league win in the tough A division this season but improving week on week. Came up against a good @Llan_UtdJuniors side, 3rd in the league, and put up a fight, but some good goals in the second half from them made the final score 4-1
Lovely friendly today vrs a good Gwealod team. Great to get a win against many of their school mates, but attitude was ace again today after a tough season in the top league so far
Dai Iawn bois
Cardiff parks pitches off again
Little rain
Only told this morning
What are they saving the pitches for? Two week break after this weekend
Broken @NoelMooney13@cardiffcouncil
@NoelMooney13@Cymru Our season in Cardiff always starts too late & ends too early! Always a chaotic end fitting in the backlog of fixtures!
We would welcome foresight & change!
People often state cricket would effect games if our szn dates moved, but surely thereโs enough pitches available?
You just have to look at all my previous posts on this matter
Until facilities improve this is the only option
Cricket isnโt an argument, plenty of football pitches sit unused over the summer
And you could play both, if not the kids just have to choose
See alot of grassroots games across @Cymru called off this weekend due to weather. As a young player I was hugely frustrated with games being called off this time of year. Would a March - Nov season make more sense ? What would be the advantages v disadvantages in your view?

The boys are on the road this week.

With the weather looking grim again this will be 7 weeks without a competitive fixture for us
Grassroots football in Wales is broken
Shift the seasons now, start earlier, end later, there are not enough 3G pitches & never will be

Adapt and change
