Donny lass living in Wales. New to Year 1 having taught in UKS2 for years and would love to join in with conversations about best practice with the little guys!
Great idea/inspiration for next week’s work! ✍🏻 A great piece of work to gather ‘baseline’ information from our new-starters! Looking forward to making a similar display with the children’s work. 🧒🏼👦🏻👧🏾 #EYTwitterTagTeam@EYTagteam
@EAS_EarlyYears Everyone who has come into my classroom is telling me that they will and that I should tell children what they can and can’t use at any one point. Made me doubt that I can teach them. There is shadowing under all the boxes too - took bloody ages!
Here to document my journey so far! My inherited y1 classroom was organised in rows so I’ve tried to create zones and have gone for a more natural vibe. I’m preparing myself for the kids to come in and mess it all up on Monday but excited to see how they use the space. Any tips?!
@JonathanMeres@OlkimGar Haha your tweet made me lol! So your book is probably hilarious… I think I’d really enjoy it and tell people how good it is if I could be bothered to pick up a copy… just sayin: it’d be super convenient if I won… 🙌🏼🤪
If you’d like a free signed copy of my brand-new picture book #ScaredyBat just like & RT this tweet. You can follow if you want but frankly I wouldn’t bother. I’ll pick 3 names at random although it might help if you suck up to me a bit. Closing date 6.9.21 OK? Gotta fly 🦇

@ShonetteBason@eypp21@cosydirect@ABCDoes I have just realised that you are the Dough Disco lady! #starstruck Went down a right rabbit hole on your website! The reception children do use your songs - they showed me (with their very crumbly dough) last week! Loved it!
I’ve set up a new Twitter account to keep it EYFS/Y1 ahead of my move to the land of the little guys in Sep. I’m a KS2 teacher through and through but totally want to embrace the approach of learning through continuous provision. Who should I follow? @cosydirect@ABCDoes 1/3
@ShonetteBason@eypp21@cosydirect@ABCDoes Now then, that sounds grand! Still relevant in Year 1? I’m going to google it now. I love Wales and I definitely see what you mean - the Welsh are bloody bendigedig!
@OlkimGar @Lou_Gou_EYFS @MrsAEYFS@mini_lebowski @BadhamMr @DodkinsH @MrsGormanEYFS @MissCartwrigh10 @Lg025 Good advice! Where would you start?! Zoning my classroom (it currently has rows of front facing tables 🤯). Also, the current timetable has the teacher with a focus group all day whilst the support staff is also working with groups, leaving nobody to manage the CP. Scrap this?🤔
