Just feet away from President Trump. Two years ago today, I crossed directly behind him just seconds before the shots rang out.

We’d just moved toward the staircase stage left — where the President would moments later be rushed to the motorcade.

I’ll never forget the sound of bullets overhead. It’s one of those moments that’s impossible to fully put into words.
