A good helmet in that test should aggressively deform its outer shell, with internal compressing layer that safely sustains the energy and leaves an intact inner shell that shields skull. Youd see massive hole on outside and no hole inside

@Devon00541131 @eps_leon @TAdventurousoul Yes but structure that both absorbs impact, and retains form, is infinitely more complicated to produce and isnt used even for very high end motorcycle helmets. Its infinitely more effective to design a helmet that absorbs via controller deforming. You only need it to happen once
