I am no fan of Refom but every time the @timespolitics@guardian mentions Geroge Cottrell the prefix it with “convicted criminal.”. They must prefix Louie Haigh then with “convicted fraudster.” Not to do so is to show disdain for professional journalism.
Interesting 🤨
A fraud conviction does not result in a blanket ban on employment. However, you are legally barred or heavily restricted from working in regulated financial services, the legal profession, law enforcement, and roles involving handling large amounts of client funds or charity trusteeship.
Why has @andyburnham appointed a criminal to high office?
The Free Speech Union has serious concerns about the Government’s proposal to ban under-16s from some social media platforms (but not others).
When the proposal was first announced, ministers cited supposedly 'harmful' platforms such as X, Facebook and YouTube, but made no mention of the left-leaning Bluesky.
A selective ban, rather than a blanket one, means Ofcom will be tasked with enforcing the political preferences of whichever government happens to be in power. If there's a change of government, will X be taken off the banned list and Bluesky put in its place?
Another concern is enforcement. How exactly does the Government intend to make the ban work in practice? In Australia — the model ministers appear keen to follow — many under-16s continue to access social media through VPNs.
Will the Government’s next step be to ban VPNs as well? That would put the UK in the same company as Turkmenistan, Iran and North Korea.
The Government has also failed to explain how this proposal can be reconciled with its duties under the Online Safety Act to protect content of democratic importance and journalistic content — duties that are due to come into force next month.
This is particularly important given the Government’s intention to extend some social media restrictions to 16 and 17 year-olds and at the same time lower the voting age to 16.
How can 16 and 17 year-olds be expected to participate meaningfully in the democratic process if the Government is restricting the content of democratic importance and the journalistic content they're able to access?
The Free Speech Union will be keeping a wary eye on the Government’s plans 👇
What dismal news that the Assisted Suicide bill is coming back. They are hoping to use the Parliamentary override to force it through without any of the improvements and safeguards offered in the Lords last time including by the Bill’s advocates like Lord Falconer. We’re going to be offered the same bill that left the Commons (left with lots of ‘oh the Lords will clean up that glaring problem, don’t worry just pass it’) on a take-it-or-leave-it, unamendable basis. Even if you accept the case for assisted dying this Bill is terrible, far too expansive and full of holes to be filled in after it’s in statute… but the advocates know they’ll never have a such a ‘progressive’ Parliament for years, so it’s now or never. So they’re trying to push through a dangerous bill that they admitted needed significant improvement, because it’s their last chance. They must be stopped.

If you can, share these images of the beautiful soul stolen from us by the worst of humanity.
Let his face today burn bright.
Barney, I promise you there will be accountability 💛💚

What is playing out now with the Belfast attack, with Henry Nowak, is a grand symphony of gaslighting & dishonesty that is almost too stomach-churning to watch
We witnessed the same after Southport, with the rape gangs....and on & on
They KNOW their mass migration ideology caused these atrocities. So they choose to deflect on to right-wing politicians, GB News and what they call the "far right".
The public need to understand exactly how their game is played and the poisonous ideology that underpins it.
The cycle is always the same:
Fury erupts across Britain, driven not by public figures (as they claim), but by the atrocity itself. You know, the mad asylum seeker wielding a bloodied knife...
Footage is shared on social media, watched with our own eyes. The pure unvarnished truth that the legacy media can't spin.
Figures on the right respond with natural fury - indeed, rage - that the elite's callous disregard for reality and their fellow citizens has yet again unleashed carnage.
But the media and the political class can't talk about that reality. They can't talk about the incident itself. Because they would have to admit it is thanks to them that such people - such murderers - have entered the country.
The BBC, The Guardian, Sky News, Labour, the Greens, the Lib Dems & many Tories, too --
What THEY CHOOSE to talk about, what they WANT YOU TO THINK the real story is about, is the anger and the choice of words of those of us who are utterly appalled and outraged by the latest atrocity -- an atrocity THEY enabled.
This is gaslighting propaganda of the most repellent and unforgivable kind.
With Southport, the real story was apparently not the son of a Rwandan refugee committing one of the most heinous crimes in British history.
No, the real story was Nigel Farage's reaction to that orgy of slaughter against little girls. When locals rioted, James O'Brien and others labelled it the 'Farage Riots'.
The small number of rioters suddenly became the story, used to dismiss the concerns of ALL protestors. "Far-right thuggery", was how Keir Starmer referred to law-abiding mothers and pensioners.
Anything to avoid talking about the crime itself and the ideology that brought its perpetrator into our country.
And now we see the same playing out with the Belfast attack and the murder of Henry Nowak.
Newsnight misleadingly quoted Nigel Farage as saying "white rage," a revealing and vile smear for which they have had to apologise yet again.
In lockstep, the media and political class rapidly converged on their narrative: this was to be a story about Nigel Farage's naughty words.
THIS is what has dominated their coverage.
This is what they want to talk about in Parliament, in the TV studios, and in the press. Farage's naughty words.
"Just how naughty were they? Should such bad words be tolerated? Should he be arrested?"
"Do we need to apply yet more censorship to protect the public against his mean, hurty words?"
These people are so far beneath contempt it is difficult to find words that do them justice.
This is a story not about Nigel Farage or the right, but the deeply ingrained anti-British and anti-white ideology that is destroying this nation.
This is an institutionally treasonous state, and Henry Novak and Stephen Ogilvie are its latest victims.
That is the real story our political and media class are attempting to bury under a mountain of pearl-clutching theatrics, lies, and misdirection.
They have blood on their hands. It's about time we said it.

Following the press conference today & the 3 months of devastating testimony from the NHS, Police, University, CPS the Victims & families & the murderers family- no one has heard anything from the murderer Valdo Calocane. Why? Because the State allowed him to literally get away with murder & never have to answer for what he did. The #Nottinghaminquiry has provided evidence for accountability. And that is what we all deserve now accountability & justice.
The Bank of England DELIBERATELY FIXED the fake "public vote" to remove ALL historical figures from bank notes & replace them with nature images
Freedom of Information requests by the Telegraph reveal the decision to remove historical figures was based on a "focus group" of a mere 119 people
The Bank LIED because it previously claimed the decision was based on a "public vote".
In truth, however, even this vote was FIXED. Instead of having HISTORY v NATURE, the bank deliberately split the "history" category into 3 sections: historical events, historical figures, architecture & landmarks.
That was the only way that "nature" could win.
However, of course bank notes always combine at least two of those history categories. For example: Churchill & Parliament or Wellington & Waterloo.
The Bank's actions are indefensible and questions should be asked in the House.
The Bank of England has clearly been captured by progressive woke ideology. A visit to the Bank of England with its permanent exhibition on slavery makes that clear
This is part of the wider war on British history. It's an attempt to create a NEW BRITAIN, based on ridiculous myths that "Diversity Built Britain" and that Britain has always been multicultural.
Remember: the Bank of England issued a 50p coin (held aloft by Rishi Sunak) which was imprinted with the nonsensical statement: "Diversity Built Britain"
Anyone who lived behind the Iron Curtain will find all of this eerily and scarily familiar.
The pulling down of statues, the renaming of streets and schools, the rewriting of history, denigrating heroes, changing bank notes etc....these were all tactics of the communists.
Severing the connection between a people and their history is the best way to demoralise a society and prepare them for the imposition of new myths.
Me on @GBNews:
It was revealed that while his dead victims had their bodies tested for drugs and alcohol
Valdo Calocane, the migrant who murdered them, did not.
We all know why
@GordonFielden@DailyTPodcast@CamillaTominey@timothy_stanley Let's put that 'substantial mandate' to the test. Let the public show how they feel about their living standards, public services etc and whether the govt is delivering. Call a general election NOW.
Dear Nick Timothy MP, we the families of victims have fought for justice ever since the Nottingham attacks where we lost our dear ones.
My life has certainly been on hold since I lost my beloved daughter.
I kindly ask for your help in bringing as many of your colleague members of parliament to support our quest to seek fair justice and get answers.
As the shadow secretary of state for justice & shadow lord chancellor you can help us with the momentum required for our fight for fair justice and answers with the DPP.
We really appreciate the help you have provided with your letter to the DPP. @NJ_Timothy@MoJGovUK@ShabanaMahmood@Fhamiltontimes@Alison1mackITV@EmilyMayTV@BBCNews@bbclaurak@SophyRidgeSky @nottslive @sophieraworth@10DowningStreet@jamesmurray_ldn@wesstreeting@KemiBadenoch@MPIainDS
🚨🇬🇧 BREAKING: its been revealed that Andy Burnham snapped up an ex council flat in Kennington for just £215,000 in 2005 while serving as an MP.
He then happily billed taxpayers for the mortgage interest payments because the rules let him get away with it.
That same flat is now worth 480000 to 500000 pounds and he rents it out while insisting the income barely covers his costs and he makes no profit.
Yet this is the same man demanding rent freezes council housing takeovers and lower rents for ordinary people.
Pure hypocrisy from a classic Westminster grifter feathering his own nest on the back of the system he loves to lecture everyone else about.
Three teenagers escaped prison after gang-raping two schoolgirls.
The country is shocked and disgusted.
But it is explicit government policy to send fewer criminals under eighteen to prison.
I’ve written to David Lammy demanding he changes course.
** An open letter to @AlboMP **
Dear Prime Minister Albanese,
Let’s get one thing clear: women are adult human females. You know it, I know it, you even said it in the lead up to the last election when asked “what is a woman” by Piers Morgan.
But we have a big problem.
I’m sure you have heard, last week, the Federal Court delivered its judgment in Giggle v Tickle, the “what is a woman” legal case that has been fighting in federal court for the past four years. To put it very simply, there are two sides to this case: women, adult human females, who want to ensure that woman is a single-sex category in law and women & girls have access to single sex spaces. The other side, which includes your human rights commission, insists that men who claim to be women are women in the eyes of the law. The full Federal Court sided with the man who claims to be a woman. Yes. A male won the “what is a woman” court case. Giggle v Tickle has turned Australia into an international laughing stock.
This decision is seismic. It means women cannot run women-only businesses for women. It confirms that the ordinary meaning of sex has been twisted beyond recognition. It means men can be women in law. The Australian Human Rights Commission, captured by ideology, has weaponised the sex discrimination act against women, the very demographic it was enacted to protect. They’ve even argued in court that men who claim to be women need pregnancy protections. They’ve pushed the view that sex is a spectrum, changeable, and that anyone objecting is the bigot. Is this something you agree with? Do you, Mr Prime Minister, think men need pregnancy protections in the law?
And there are real-world stakes here: Girls at school are holding their bladders all day, refusing to drink water, because boys who claim to be girls are in their bathrooms and they don’t want them there. Women prisoners are locked in cells with male sex offenders who simply “identify” as women. Female athletes are losing podiums, matches and safety. This isn’t inclusion - it’s the demise of women’s rights.
Prime Minister, some of your ministers say, “we need to protect trans rights”. With all due respect, sir, your government can protect so called trans rights without stripping rights from women and girls. Every other citizen manages to exist without demanding access to the opposite sex’s protected spaces. Why not try to get “trans rights” without destroying the rights of women and girls? Have you ever even tried?
The fact that Labor hasn’t even mentioned Giggle v Tickle and women’s rights - while Liberals, Nationals, and One Nation politicians speak out - tells us everything. This week has been silence from the Labor Party. No trans visibility day parades on this one. No pride posts. Why? What don’t you want Australians to know?
You boast about your 50 per cent women in cabinet. Good for you - you can accurately recognise what a woman is when it suits you. But the rest of us aren’t allowed to without fear of punishment. And can I ask, if you filled that cabinet with 50 per cent trans women, would you still call it equality between men and women? Think about that.
While the UK, the United States and even New Zealand are waking up, rolling back the nonsense and restoring sanity and realizing that gender ideology is a failed experiment, your government is turning Australia into the laughing stock of the world. “Giggle v Tickle” isn’t just a punchline overseas - it’s proof Australia is upside down.
I want to tell you something really important: If you will lie about something as obvious as men being women, we can assume you will look us in the eye and lie about everything.
Tell the truth. Fix the Sex Discrimination Act. Reinstate clear biological, accurate definitions of man and woman. Protect women, girls and single-sex spaces. Actually do something.
Because, at the moment, Mister Prime Minister, I’m doing your job for you.
Baroness Claire Fox speaks about the Southport killer and asks if there is going to be an investigation about how it was allowed to happen. She says nobody wants to talk about his race... same with what happened in Nottingham. She says it cant be brushed over because thats what authorities did when dealing with these murderers and why they were able to go on to commit their crimes.
Labour response.... we have to be very careful when talking about their race ..... wtaf 🤬
Just when the Labour Party is working out if it can recover, find a new way forward, he wants to plunge the Party back into at least another 12 month fight over a terrible, reckless bill, and then vote after vote to fill in the detail of how exactly to end lives on the NHS 2/
