Find me on threads at cdacpa. Or Facebook at Cynthia Alberson.
I’m also here occasionally.
Until someone decides where we’ll all land.
Or one of these things blows up. 🤷🏻♀️
@MArmstadt I asked my father when I was little why Warren Buffett didn’t run.
Dad: He’s too smart to want to be president.
I understand that answer now.
@DNicholsAuthor I’ve had forced breaks due to extended medical issues. In some ways it helps; I can let things “marinate” and work through dialogue in my head.
But it’s very hard for me to restart. I’m at that point right now.
@Meredith_author Mostly. But even better is that Life360 app now has the 💨 emoji next to my husband’s name every time it notifies me he’s left the house. 🤷🏻♀️
I received psychiatric/psychological care for over seven years before my rare disease diagnosis. Unfortunately many docs give up quickly and default to psychotropic medications.
A friend was told by a doctor that they were being paranoid and threatened them with a referral for psychiatric care because they thought that they had ongoing symptoms after their Covid infection.
They went to a second doctor, and that doctor had them checked out for Lymphoma.
@EmmaBriedis As long as they are all happy, I figure what business is it of mine? My friend “lives with her mom” but takes care of her, plus has a toddler and a part time job.
Sometimes younger adults do it to save for a house.
The price of living has shot through the roof.
@disneymom1126 I got truly lucky. I found an editor here on Twitter, and she does a fantastic job. She did a few pages for free so I could see her work. @TheWordCubby
