@SharonJebitok Can communicate with the front-end, oracles, security, etc. So I'd advise to not necessarily bother with titles because you'll mostly be wearing different hats anyway. Focus on having all-around knowledge because you'd most likely end up working for a start-up.
@SharonJebitok In as much as what you've said is correct, it doesn't necessarily hold true in the dev world now. Except you're working with a really big company, as a block chain developer you will be wearing a LOT of hats. You still have to know how to write front-end that
Yes, that's also something to think about but security is the biggest issue. If crypto is going to be the currency for the unbanked, then security needs to become a very big priority. The amount sold scams and hacks is mind-boggling.
Security in block chain technology needs to be taken seriously. The focus shouldn't be all on attacks to the block chain itself when the front end and smart contracts are fishing nets with large gaps. A thread β #blockchain#cybersecurity#blockchaindevelopment#cryptocurrency
Block chain technology will not go mainstream until it proves itself to be safer than the current technology being used. There are so many issues and not enough companies actively trying to fix those issues. The focus is on amount of transaction per second and gas fees
@VittoStack How is it that apple doesn't tend to show up on these lists when they are acquiring Ar/Vr companies and also investing into the metaverse space. All these huge companies dumping money to buy a technology and people still say it's a scam. Fascinating π€.
@paulg Companies left and right. The metaverse would take time before it can be used by the general population and that's OK. It'll also take years before we start seeing some serious innovation and more Ar/Vr/Xr apps.
@paulg I love how Facebook is getting a lot of heat and hate for the metaverse and being delusional with VR/AR. It's not like Microsoft, Google, oh and Apple too aren't also investing in the metaverse space
It's weird how Facebook gets all the hate when apple has been acquiring Ar/Vr
@PrasoonPratham Online certificates are only just becoming valued and respected. This is the same with any technology. The metaverse makes conducting businesses oversees and keeping in touch with family easier and faster. It will provide a feeling of kinship in a remote world.
@PrasoonPratham The metaverse, ar/vr and crypto are interconnected. It's getting a lot of hype now because of the benefits and possibilities you could have remotely. It's just like online schooling, it has been around for a while but only recently gained notoriety. π
