The CBS Fire Department is wearing pink ribbon epaulettes this October to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Firefighters will wear them on their right shoulders, showing support for this important cause.

Firefighter Lawlor is wearing chainsaw chaps as an extra level of protection.

Great job to all!

Knocking another great training session out of the park today. Crews completed familiarization in stretching and searching, ventilation, rescue, and ladders. We complete annual training in all basic firefighting disciplines.

Another life-saving device placed in service this week. This device is a non-powered, non-invasive, single-use only airway clearance device developed for resuscitating a victim with an upper airway obstruction with a proven track record for medical intervention.

👨‍🚒 What an amazing day for Chief Issac of @Topsail_Elem, our 2023 Fire Chief for a Day! 🚒🔥

He had an opportunity to ride aboard the fire truck, use the hose, and perform our radio checks. Fire Chief Isaac did a great job!

@EddieSheerr @stjohnsairport @Lynx_Air My husband and kids flew Lynx last summer to Edmonton. No issues at all. Been looking at prices this year and noticed a BIG price increase in the price of a carry on bag. By the time you add on all the extras, even with a discount code - it was no longer a “cheap flight”.

@OURHOUSENL @CBSFireChief Bowling for Ronald McDonald House today. Great effort by team CBSFD!! We raised $1075!!
