An incredibly difficult building to redevelop, some listed art deco interiors, no natural light, subdivisions v. awkward! Studied it for a client over 20 years ago. Sad it’s still empty. Great location.

At least Storyhouse is maintaining its £228k from ACE. Not an uplift for 2023-2026, but no cut. It really could have used an increase. @ShitChester . Not sure what the ‘combined’ CWAC ACE funding is allocate for.
See Action Transport Theatre has got 120k uplift to 177k v.good
@GaryUsher_ Ahhhh alas, don’t despair! I’ve been involved with Chester Visual Arts and we’ve looked at crowdfunding for an arts center but the costs of time in campaign for an all or nothing campaign is very hard and risky. Keep to your quality and you will no doubt succeed again!
