NEW VIDEO: I always get asked "What can you see?" So I decided to make a short film about it, explaining my experience and how I see the world through my eyes as a legally blind person.

@KenisGreat77_ Most everything is a sequel, reboot, spinoff, or adaptation of something else. There still are some gems out there, though, like Severance.
Episode 121 • Josh Boykin (@Cyrealist)

Lance sits down with Josh to discuss what it means to be “blind enough” to use a white cane and other accessibility tools, how to grow an audience on YouTube, redefining masculinity, and more!
Accessibility and the rights of people with disabilities should never be a left or right issue, full stop. I will never align with an agenda that aims to strip those human rights away.
I'm moderating a panel at Sight Tech Global 2024!
I'm so happy to be speaking with this group of industry folks to discuss gaming accessibility.
Join us virtually on December 4-5th, 2024, for this FREE event exploring the future of AI and accessibility technology.

Seeing AI can now describe videos! Share short MP4 files, and hear descriptions of each scene. Early testers told us how it provided greater inclusion in group chats, reliving family memories, and understanding notifications from a doorbell camera. https://t.co/YzUlr3z6Kr
For 10 years since starting my Blind Gamer series on YouTube, I've received comments similar to "you're not blind." and that I'm deceiving developers on what blind and disabled players need to play games. I have ignored those comments for the most part. But after more of those comments on yesterday's Black Ops 6 video I saw an opportunity to educate what I do and how I consult, so here's a video explaining it.
Please forgive me for the long video (and the missing captions. I'm in a hotel room and wifi and resources are limited).
@JamesRath Agreed. There's been a few times where I couldn't figure out how to unsubscribe from something because it wasn't obvious or was hidden behind menus or small text.
So many of these "Unsubscribe" barriers are also not only inaccessible for the general public but almost unusable for people with disabilities who have access needs. This rule needs to take effect and this lawsuit should be thrown out.
@Beanfinite@TheWobblyGamer@CerebralPaul1@YesShe I was looking forward to it too, but that text size and contrast means @spacemarine is a big no for me sadly. I'm sure it looked fine on a huge monitor right in front of the UI designer's face. @sabersupport you have some legal implications from it too - https://t.co/iDIrm5XJ4Z
@BGFH79 Yeah, looking back at older games, I didn't have nearly as much trouble playing them or reading the text as I do now with modern games and HD resolutions.
@stevesaylor Great books by him. I started with the first Mistborn trilogy. I just finished the 3rd book of The Stormlight Archive. It's good stuff. Enjoy!
I've been thinking about doing a social media detox recently. I'm always scrolling on my phone and getting distracted when trying to do other things. I don't get much out of most social media either besides posting videos.
