This hit hard, as we enter my daughters final year of youth soccer, I recall 14 years of cherished memories. I wouldn’t trade any frozen noses, soaked feet, sunburned cheeks, stinky kits or KMs clocked for the moments our family shared through her journey #EnjoyEveryMoment 💞⚽️

In 10 years time I won't have to get up at 8am on a Sunday morning

I won't have to wash muddy sports kits or make sure both boots are in the bag or that we have water bottles and and shin pads, I won't be needed as the worlds proudest cheerleader for 2 hours plus every weekend.

That time will pass in a heartbeat just like the last 10 years have and in no time my weekends will be my own again

Until that day comes I am happy to give up any amount of my time and I fully intend to be the constant cheerleader, kit manager, chauffeur, water carrier and the biggest supporter on the sideline - whether they like that or not 🤣

For the parents with the wet feet and windswept hair who are on the touchline come rain or shine or flipping snow cheers from me 🥂☔️❄️☀️

Taking a moment to bring to attention that the most experience any current High School Student has in writing “normal” exams is what the Graduating Gr. 12’s wrote in their 1st semester of GRADE NINE!!! add to that the stress that these marks impact their post secondary plans

They are my grade 11s @CardinalLegerSS. Today is their first exam. It is their first exam in HIGHSCHOOL because of #COVID19. The amount of #stress is real. So I tell them to bring their comfort object to the exam (blanket, stuffy, etc) to help manage. #BellLetsTalk
