@MBDscience I had a landlord once who complained that I'd somehow blocked access to the house when they tried to get in to do some maintenance. I hadn't. They just didn't know how doors or keys work or something 🤷🏼♀️
managing multiple versions of jan in this sci-fi base and honestly it's getting delightfully confusing!
come watch me fumble through this blind playthrough and see how many jans is too many jans https://t.co/LednzdKJIn
@tombennett71 Kids aren't put off in their rocket science lessons because they're constantly fed the myth that rocket science is really hard though! I saw the impact of this sort of thinking daily when I taught and it's so hard to overcome when the idea that maths is too hard is so pervasive.
@ChrisPa79064041@RogersHistory Ditto. I taught maths too, and I'd go back to the classroom in a heartbeat but I don't think I could ever work in a school again. The classroom was the respite from all the nonsense outside of it.
@MBDscience My whole teaching career I repeatedly asked for training in being a form tutor and teaching PSHE because I knew it was a really weak area for me. I never got any at all.
@MBDscience I've done it in the past through necessity. Most were fine, one agent did make me feel uncomfortable during the viewing though. You're definitely vulnerable if you're alone in the property with a stranger, even more so if said stranger is male. Sad but true.
I mean this, by the way. Donate £10 to @lumos, I'll draw three names out of a hat and we'll have dinner. It could be KFC, but the wonderful @JamesChiavarini has just suggested his restaurant, so it might be there instead (travel and accommodation on me if you're not in London).
Guys, we're about to witness some serious school drama!
TheCyzaki's on the brink of expulsion in this cheeky game. Join us for pub adventures and rebellious fun.
We're all in this together – let's see how it unfolds! https://t.co/oaXyOj8KDT
