@STB474@CZ_Firearms You wouldn't want it to. One of the advantages of the CZP10 platform over the Glock is better ergonomics, and the grip angle is a big part of that.
@CZ_Firearms Is it just me, or does this just look uncomfortable and impractical to shoot? And if it's not made to be shot, what is the point? I'm not one for safe queens.
@FSUofAustralia@benneth53754 That is why we have a system of laws and courts. We already enforce restrictions on "free speech" like most open societies - eg: laws against fraud, defamation, protecting copyright, trademarks, privacy, national or military secrets. Free speech isn't a free-for-all.
@JihadCollective@groffovids@FSUofAustralia Why not laws and courts? It's good enough for laws against defamation, libel, fraud, misleading advertising, trademark and copyright infringement etc. All well established restrictions on "free speech" in an open society.
@PaulSpry376361@NzFubar WMDs are a fact we've had to live with since their invention. Opting out of the western alliance in the 80s put us on the wrong side of history. Naive privileged westerners fell for the "nuclear free" movement like their descendents fall for Putin's and Iran's propaganda today.
@PaulSpry376361@NzFubar You're missing my point. The bombing of the Rainbow Warrior months later didn't make Lange's performance at a student union debate against an American televangelist heroic because it happened after the event.
@PaulSpry376361@NzFubar The bombing of the rainbow warrior was an outrage. But little to do with a debate an English University student union months earlier. I remember it sparked a ridiculous anti-French hysteria (rivaling anti-Americanism) in NZ with even (locally owned) French bakeries boycotted.
@PaulSpry376361@NzFubar Yeah, I remember all the shallow anti-Americanism prevailing at the time. It doesn't take courage to be a populist. It takes courage to make the right decision when it's not fashionable.
@PaulSpry376361@NzFubar A battle hardened sitting PM vs a fringe televangelist? Falwell was the lightweight - intellectually and physically. It's really not a moral victory of Biblical proportions.
@PaulSpry376361@NzFubar What was so great about it? Growing up in the 80s I never understood why our fawning NZ media reported it like some intellectual masterstroke. It's not clever or witty in the slightest.
@JayMac0187@MenachemV Ah, so you are just a keyboard warrior then. Or are you brave enough to come out of your mother's basement and publicly advocate support for them with your real name and face?
@JayMac0187@MenachemV If you actually support them - as in do something to support them, rather than just keyboard virtue signalling - you've just admitted to breaking the law. They're a listed state sponsor of terrorism in Australian law.
