@FSUofAustralia @benneth53754 That is why we have a system of laws and courts. We already enforce restrictions on "free speech" like most open societies - eg: laws against fraud, defamation, protecting copyright, trademarks, privacy, national or military secrets. Free speech isn't a free-for-all.

I remember it sparked a ridiculous anti-French hysteria (rivaling anti-Americanism) in NZ with even (locally owned) French bakeries boycotted.
