On August 21, we commemorate the Memorial Day of the Victims of the 1968 Invasion and the subsequent occupation of
Czechoslovakia by Warsaw Pact troops. This day is dedicated to the memory of all those whose lives were tragically affected by August 1968. We will not forget. 🕊️

Today we remember all whose freedom, dignity, and lives were taken away by the communist regime. 76 years ago, after a fabricated trial, Milada Horáková and other notable public figures were executed. These heroes gave their lives for the values of democracy-we will never forget.

Between 12-15 May we welcomed a delegation of Czech companies specializing in Smart Cities and Smart Transport technologies to Bulgaria as part of an economic diplomacy initiative carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.

The participants were given the opportunity to present their innovative solutions at the Sofia and Plovdiv municipalities.

The highlight of the program was a joint presentation for more than 50 representatives of the Association of Bulgarian Cities and Regions (ABGR).
