I love gaming, my dogs and making terrible choices. 🤷🏻♂️ my favorite game ever is Oblivion (the remaster is a beautiful dream come true), X-Men is best team.
They cut back on the choices.
Nemesis turned into a generic boss.
They removed levels like the clock tower and the park.
Exploration of Raccoon City is technically linear.
It’s a terrible game compared to the classic.
I literally just want ODST 2. 343/Halo Studios fucked the main story HARD with their 3 entries, I'd rather go a different direction with a soft reboot. They can even make Halo Zombies with the flood and wham bam you got a solid first entry of a new series.
My bet for Halo's next mainline game under Activision is that they'll bring back The Flood (which they should have done long ago) as a main enemy in the campaign and add a 3rd Call of Duty-esque zombies mode with them, too.
Follow-up on my last post: internet issues are resolved and I'll be able to resume updates and streaming again!
Some new features I added while working offline:
1) More variety in impact animations. When defending against repeated attacks the player now recoils with animations unique to the strikes while leading up to a stumble. This feels more organic than generic block animations repeating for rapid hits.
2) More accurate hitboxes and directional damage triggers for melee detection, which also helps with the previously mentioned impact animation changes.
3) A new cinematic camera system that mirrors all animations the player has with FOV and targeting changes synced with the action. As seen in the clip, the camera automatically follows the player while strategically focusing on tension moments and momentum changes. Every possible animation the player can take now has a camera response to improve the feel of combat and motion. Like many automated and quality-of-life settings, camera motion can be toggled off in the options if you prefer a more classic ARPG camera.

“Visited” New Zealand to start MGS4 in the Master Collection Vol 2, and the intro bit with @DavidBHayter still cracks me up to this day. So happy to play again after nearly 15 years since my last playthrough. 😭
@Acai28 I’m legit getting the band in a box because I want MORE 5-fret games and I wanna support the scene, but if im truthful the aesthetic is a little jarring and not to my taste. I know it’s probably the last priority and not likely to be changed but I was hoping more grungy GH2/3.
@vicious696 I know it’s probably a ways off before 360 is supported in full, but do you know if discs from Ultimate Editions (ex Dragon Age Ultimate Edition or The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition) will allow for digitized DLC ownership from install discs?
