Sayyidah ʿĀʾishah al-Siddīqah: “If the women who saw Yūsuf (peace be upon him) cut their hands seeing the beauty of Yūsuf, they would have cut their throats if they saw my Yūsuf (Sayyidunā Muḥammad ﷺ).”
[Shamāʾil al-Muḥammadiyyah by Imām al-Tirmidhī]
The ʿUlamāʾ described Prophet Yūsuf's, peace be upon him, face as being 'sweet'. There is only so much that any human can take in of sugar or dessert before they are completed enamored and overcome. People who looked at Nabī Yūsuf's face would be overwhelmed as we saw with women cutting their fingers upon seeing him. Sayyidunā Muḥammad's ﷺ face was described as Malīḥ (مليح). The word salt is called Milḥ in Arabic. We are able to consume more Malīḥ and savoury food than desserts and sweets. So how does this relate to Rasūlullāh's ﷺ face? You can gaze upon him, and gaze upon him, and gaze upon him, but his beauty is such that you will never become satiated or filled by seeing it. The more your eyes look upon him, the more you desire. Imām al-Munāwī also said that the Prophet ﷺ reached the pinnacle of beauty, while Prophet Yūsuf was given only half of that! Nabī Yūsuf was given half of the world’s beauty, a world which Allāh Taʿālā created for the sake of Rasūlullāh ﷺ.
