YCCC is excited to announce our officially transition to the @NJCAAe Esports League!

We believe this move will empower YCCC Esports to give its students a high quality competitive experience for years to come!

[DirtFarm @D1rtFarm]

This move aligns YCCC with an competitive body that better suits the needs of a two year program. I am thankful for my partners at York County Community College who helped our program make this transition!

@TheEsportsProf This is the first thing I thought of seeing this news. Hopefully this is a good change but PlayVS does not have a great history...

@Glub1natoorr @llo_0py If players are only enrolled for 1 of the 2 semesters will their position be allowed to be filled by another student in the other split?

[DirtFarm @D1rtFarm]

@ColleagueGG Excited to watch this!

There's a thing happening where esports journalists (and entire publications, for that matter) are also doing marketing/PR for companies. You really need to disclose these relationships at the writer/publication level so readers know and can make their own determinations.

One of the biggest mistakes I’ve noticed is when collegiate esports/gaming programs focus ONLY on competitive. It’s often a big waste of funds to do it that way and minimizes the impact that’s possible with a more holistic view.
