The fire is over 23,000 acres. Fort Robinson and the town of Crawford have been spared. We camp there each year, love the place. It'll be quite different the next time, but plants will regrow, the fort, probably wouldn't.
For those heading east on U.S. 20 from Lusk - the highway is closed to all traffic at Harrison, west of Ft. Robinson, due to the ongoing South Fork fire. It's not at over 23,000 acres and at last report, less than 10 percent contained. #wyoroad

Casper: I-25: Planned closure to remove overhead signs, June 9-12, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Traffic diverted to Amoco Road from Bryan Stock Trail, and to Events Drive from the bypass. Detour signage in place. #wyoroad
Reconstruction of Poplar Street in Casper began June 1. Project includes new road surface, lighting and traffic signals, utility upgrades, and more. Poplar Street closed between Collins and CY. Detour is Ash Street between CY and Collins. 13th Street remains open. #wyoroad
