We were excited to host our first parent event of the year, Las Rutinas Importan/Routines Matter. Our family liaison presented excellent info about the routines parents can form at home and the impact of attendance.

After school, on Tuesdays, Turner clubs are jumping. We have Soccer Club, Chicago Arts Partnership in Education (CAPE), and of course Hip Hop Dance Club.

Our students from Mrs. Hernandez's first grade dual language class led the pledge this morning, as is our tradition. They get a #USA pencil and a smile.

Today we honored our awesome paraprofessionals for National Parapro Day! We are blessed to have such a great crew here.

This past week I have been reminded of how @D33Turner truly lives out our theme this year, #WeOverMe. We have had teachers step up and lead the staff meeting. We had our secretary helping to clear snow. And we have had teachers sub all over when necessary. I'm a proud principal.
