One of the wildest things I saw in secondary school happened during prefect selection at Sango Ota High School, that same notorious Sango Ota High School.
You would expect prefects to be the most decent or responsible students.
Not us.
When it was time to appoint prefects, the school picked the boys everyone feared.
The Labour Prefect was the head of one of the most feared cult groups in the school.
The Social Prefect was another known ruffian.
The Timekeeper, another cultist.
And the reason was simple.
If the Labour Prefect tells you to sweep the compound or clear the bush, who dares say no?
If the Social Prefect is in charge of parties, sports, and school events, no thug wants to disrupt anything and face him later.
Then there was Pelebe as Timekeeper.
Once he rang the bell, nobody stayed back on the field to form hard guy. You moved.
Looking back now, it says a lot.
Prefectship in that moment was not about good character or leadership.
It was about fear, control, and keeping the school in order.
That was the reality of Sango Ota High School then.
I believe it's will be in the nation interest to make standard of living easier promote heterosexual relationship and support the younger population by providing various programs that helps them have a better experience.
Another aspect integration of technological innovation that reduce human inputs.
