That doesn’t mean Elden ring/fromsoft games aren’t amazing games worthy of praise AKA the gold standard and the CREATORS of the genre… Darksouls 1 won game of the decade because of this, they literally paved the way for a lot of modern games you probably enjoy right now!

Out of the 7 people who i know (who have thousands of hours on modern pc cods) all switched over the xbox game pass instead of buying it for full price on steam…

This is the same situation with overwatch btw, steam charts are not what you should be looking at for these games.

@st4rsixtyseven @Flowrezzz @LeQueerious “The numbers say otherwise” did we forget bo6/bo7 is constantly on the gamepass? I have tons of friends who till play cod to this day and none of them buy it at full price. Battlepass is the way, looking at steam charts for modern cod is a bit disingenuous.

It shows they had no idea what they were doing at a baseline. Atleast bo6/bo7 has a proper movement system which is basically all we need.

@st4rsixtyseven @Flowrezzz @LeQueerious You miss my main point. The tac sprint reset bug literally removed the point of the stamina bar. You are able to endlessly tac sprint around the map without penalty in 2019, it’s objectively bad design that was fixed in mw2(2022) and onwards….

@st4rsixtyseven @TheBradySeven @LeQueerious “Bo7 is clunkier than mw2019” you do realize any game without omnimovment now is a downgrade in fluidity and movement regardless, even bo6 has better movement than mw2019. Playing a cod game without omnimovment feels so extremely slow and sluggish it’s disgusting. Unplayable.

@SHONNOISSEUR @DETONATEDcom I don’t like OW either but objectively overwatch is doing 2x - 3x better than marvel rivals when considering concurrent player counts on all platforms. Overwatch still has higher steam chart numbers even though a large majority play on battle net. Hope this helps.
