Mary Stavin was crowned Miss World in November 1977 and did not meet George Best until 1982, she was in a relationship with him from 1982 to 1985.

@D98Red It was this year in 1973 that he must have broke up with her because he hooked up with the new Miss World 1973, Marjorie Wallace after November 1973 when she became Miss World. Marjorie broke up with George Best in January 1974 after a row and scandal over theft from her flat.
