Starting today, we will be disabling the creation of new campaigns on DAO Up!. Existing campaigns will continue to operate as normal. At the core of this decision is that we believe that DAO Up! needs to be run by the community and not by a core group of devs.. 🧵

What DAO should make these decisions? It must be a DAO governed by the community. No small group of individuals should be allowed to make those decisions. Until such a DAO can be convened, we've got to put
the brakes on things.

@ShayneRarma We try to feature projects that allocate a significant amount of the token supply to backers and have solid roadmaps.

It’s very unfortunate this rug happened. We’re thinking hard about what we might change. Permissionless systems are challenging. There is a lot to do.

@faas_blog Yep. We currently support launching campaigns with JUNO or UST, but for now you have to back in the currency chosen by the campaign.

@junoswapdex As part of these latest updates we now also support updating campaign details after the campaign has been created, and multiple images for campaigns.

DAO Up! now supports funding campaigns in UST.

We have integrated the @junoswapdex contracts to allow swapping Juno to UST while backing a campaign.
