@dancingrabbit Absolutely we should. I remember learning the reality of meat processing in school when I was young and I remember learning about farming and sustainable crops. But if my memory serves these were to learn about industry and unfortunately not tied to a health class lesson.
Happy Father's Day to all my fellow dads and fathers out there, biological or not. Today is your day to let all the dad jokes fly and nobody can do anything to stop you. #FathersDay
@MLive I've yet to see an article or tweet properly let her have her own spotlight. Posts like this dismiss her and give him credit for what she did. This isn't ok.
I'm mostly retweeting to easily find this later, so I can deep dive on these points. The SEALs mindset is built with purpose, and can help us with our jobs, our families, and our daily lives. I'm looking forward to coming back to this later.
Navy SEALs are the most elite warriors on earth.
How do they become that way?
By developing an unbreakable mindset.
Here’s how they do it (and how you can, too):
#writingcommunity, I have a question for y'all: how did you decide which story deserved to be finished first? I have so many ideas that I've started to research and character develop, but can't decide which should be first.
Today is the one day a year that many folks block off to watch football and commercials. How are you including your kids in your day? #BeDadToday#parenting
I just discovered this #TedTalk from 2014. It is a fantastic aspiration to live life unafraid to say what needs to be said in the moment. This motivated me today to teach my kids to tell their truth while also trying each day to do better at it myself. https://t.co/PDTV1AFqdx
First #snowday of the school year today. First family snowball fight of the winter. Great times and a couple tears were had (snowball to the face). #parenting#familytime
My 10 y.o. gets it. She said to me this morning, "you have to know a lot to be a parent, because kids are curious." This after asking me to explain the process of moving power lines underground. #parenting#beingdad
#ShortStoryChallenge2022 ends tonight at midnight. I'm wondering how many revisions I can fit into the next 14 hours before I submit it to @nycmidnight. But also I hope I don't over-revise.
Did anyone know that GIF wars were a thing? My oldest daughter got a phone for her birthday last week, and now she and my wife are in a #GIFwar . #parenting
It's 23 degrees right now, yet my kids came home with 1 wearing no jacket, 1 with her jacket open, and 1 fully zipped up. And of course all complained it was cold. Ah, kids. #winter#parenting#kids
